Wow, this hostel in Guanajuato is totally my style! It's situated in a cool old house with such a cozy vibe. The kitchen is huge and accessible all day and night. Plus, there's a chill terrace to hang out on. The room I stayed in had 8 bunk beds, perfect for groups or solo travelers like me.

We enjoyed strolling along the winding paths that branched off from the hostel, exploring the city's hidden gems. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable home away from home for our family. , the strong wifi connection was a bonus for staying connected with our loved ones. Our time at Hostal Encounter Guanajuato will always be cherished as a wonderful family adventure.

My wife says that having a kitchen facility would have been great for families with children.

Stayed at an awesome place with a tasty restaurant and clean rooms. Yuki, the owner, was super cool. No kitchen or breakfast, but no worries, there are tons of taco and coffee options nearby. Laundry only costs 15 pesos and the Wi-Fi was unbelievably strong. Location was perfect, next to a bus stop and walking distance to the historical area. Only 1 bathroom, but it was always clean and not too crowded. Beds were comfy and ready, with lockers too. Loved the small common room with free coffee and water, fridge, and microwave. They even had a hairdryer and washing machine for super cheap. The staff were friendly, had keys for easy entry, and residents got a discount at the restaurant. Express check-in/out and free luggage storage. No pets allowed and non-smoking rooms. This place was mind-blowing!

Superb location, near bus stop & historical center. Comfy beds, ready-to-use, with lockers in clean dorm. Excellent bathroom with hot water. Free coffee/water, fridge, microwave. Rare and amazing services: free hairdryer & cheap laundry. Nice terrace with luggage storage. Accepts credit cards. Friendly staff with delicious food from restaurant downstairs. Easy check-in/out, and lots of plug sockets with USB ports. Alex was incredibly helpful and gave useful info. Incredible stay!

I had a pleasant stay at Hostal Encounter in Guanajuato. The staff was friendly and the room wassuper clean and cozy. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and right next to a bus stop. I appreciated the mini soap and shampoo provided. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of sockets near the beds and some mini lamps would have been useful.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to all the incredible nightlife. We were able to explore the winding paths of Guanajuato and discover hidden gems around every corner. Plus, the hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay!

If I had to ask for one thing to make our stay even more fun for us young party-goers, it would be a common area where we could hang out and meet other travelers. It would have been awesome to have a space to socialize and connect with others who were also on the hunt for a good time in Guanajuato.
